My favorite metal albums of 2004:

    * Motörhead - Inferno (Back to 250 bpm. I love it. Especially Metallica's "Seek & Destroy" borrowed song „In The Name Of Tragedy”.)
    * Danzig - Circle of Snakes (I got a love/hate relationship with this album. But it still got some big, fat, heavy guitars.)
    * The Ducky Boys - Three Chords And The Truth (The Guns N' Roses of punk music.)
    * Damageplan - New found power (Not as good as Pantera's earlier work but still.)
    * Hatebreed - The Rise Of Brutality (Talking about an agrresive album.)
    * Exodus - Tempo Of The Damned (Good old fast Bay Area-trash metal. Paul Baloff would be proud.)
    * Rag Men - Rag Men (Suprised the hell out of me.)
    * Ministry - Houses Of The Molé (The best album they made yet. And I'm not really a fan.)
    * Death Angel - The Art Of Dying (Excellent production by Brian Dobbs, maybe Metallica should give him a call )
    * Lars Frederikson And The Bastards - Viking (Punk at it's best!)
    * Drowning Pool - Desensitized (Glad they didn't throw the towel after singer Dave ‘Stage’ Williams death. New singer Jason ‘Gong’ Jones did a good job on their new album. His powerfull voice fits the band perfectly.)

    Btw,I can't stand Within Temptation.

So the nomination for Damage Plan and Drowning Pool has been seconded.

Does anyone want to second Probot? This was really a great album. I had it as early as Feb, but it took till November before I appreciated the album as much as it deserved. This actually got me to go back and take a serious look at bands of my youth whom I had dismissed. Bands like Celtic Frost, Voivod, and Savatage. I hate to admit it, but I actually checked out Merciful Fate again also.

Not sure what you mean 'whats up'? they seemed to tour america heavily last year and put in only a few appearences in the UK and europe. other than that no idea. They dont seem to have made an impact/focus their energies much over here.
