Ohh thats not bad... I wonder at what speed that will be...

I is hope for 2.2Ghz lol

If it is 2.2Ghz dual core i will upgrade then

On another note, i bet these babies will be hard to overclock.

On another another note, Isn't Dual core Athlon64 going to take the cake away from dual core Opteron 1xx series...

i have heard that the duel cores are very unstable for some reason. anyway i hope intel makes them lga 775, cause i would have to have to buy a new mobo jsut for a new processor.

How would they(being the ones that your heard this from) know. Ther isn't a retail model yet and neither Intel nor AMD will F' this up because this is a start of another money makeing method.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Intel is going to do away with the LGA775 when the dual cores come out. I read that somewhere, I'll have to look up the link and post back here. They are going to hit us with yet another socket.

Well, it looks like I was wrong, it seems that all signs point towards an LGA775 to start off with.

I've read contradictory reports on whether this will be compadible with i925 or not. Some say that Smithfield is not recommend for use with i925 and i915. Others say it flat out won't work.
