    Cool interest in clay sculpting for concept work

    It was about time I started a sculpting dedicated thread this have everu thing to do with 3d so did any one done any type of sculpting any one

    I had a couple of sculpting classes in college... never really used sculpey much... but do have some on hand... and did a head once with it.. may need to play with it some more.

    i did some clay scuplting in college, ui wish i had the setup to do it at home, it would be a great help[ when developing characters.

    I only used water based clay at college (cuz they are cheap), but always wanted to used oil based clays. Basically water-based clays dry out if you don cover them, but oil based clays stay the same you just have to heat them up.

    I would try sculpey cuz alot of peopel use that, and then there is the nsb stuff (non sulphur based, dunno what that one menas, but im sure a few peopel here will know more about ti than what i do)

    i don't rery like sculpey maybe cos i don't have oven , now i use milliput is an epoxy putty good fo sclupting and filling thinges

    i heard you could make an oven out of a filling box or big shoebox, line it with tinfoil, and cut a hole in the side, get a tungsten lamp and your ready to go. There was a site where they had this on, cant remember though.

    Im actually working on a "Pinkey the demon" fron Doom 3 sculpter at the momment. I'll post pics later .

    I made a baby dinosaur coming out of an egg which was drawn out first and then sculpted and it came out really cute. Was done in middle school. I'll post a pic as soon as i find the picture.
