I know there are many mods being made by models of 3DS Max.
Because of them making all the great gun tutorials. I was wondering if anyone would like me to do a gun tutorial for Maya 6 ?

Something different. But for those who love maya like me and don't want to move onto a complicated program such as Max. I could make a tutorial, just let me know

I like the second pic better than the first one. The first one looks like the objects are floating in the air alittle bit, you can fix that with a little more shading I guess. Overall its a nice brand new sniper rifle.

about the model .. its mixture of NURBS and sub_D

the Rifle main body is Sub-D and the scop or what ever its call (i'm not a gun man ) is in NURBS the bulits, knife and the case are NURBS

so does it worth to make a video tutorial for it ?

I dunno but I would like a pistol tutorial but making that sort of gun would probably help in acomplishing that, so yes. Then that could lead into other things like making the gun fire, maybe i'm going to far there

Is it just me, or is the depression in the lid of the rifle case flipped upside down? It doesn't look like the case would close properly.

thats why i have corrected in the other picture

it took me 7 hours to render it .. hence i hate to render stuff in my PC. .
