    Question Channel Box colors

    Hi I have searched an answer for this everywhere, google, Maya help, forums but no luck.
    What are the meaning of the colors in the Channel Box?
    I know, light blue is for expressions, orange for keys, gray is for locked etc.

    Could someone give me a full list of colors? Thanks in advance.

    These are the default settings as per the Help files (Maya 6) for the Channel Box - Basics:

    Locked = Gray (Windows, IRIX, and Linux) / Pink (Mac OS X)

    Muted = Brown

    Blended = Green

    Keyed = Light Orange

    Expression = Purple

    Constrained = Blue

    Connected = Yellow

    hey dez.. you might know this one..
    is there a way to change the color of the channel box when the timeline is sitting on a keyframe?

    I seem to remember something like this in max.. and didn't realize how useful it was until I started playing around with character animation in maya.

    No, I don't believe there is a way to do this. I may be wrong but the closest thing to this Maya has is the red tick marks in the timeline for a selected object.
