    How can I put images in to a MySQL DB?

    I'm trying to make a DB (MySQL in this case), and i'm need to put in images (pictures) in this DB, for use on a PHP script.
    Do anybody of you know how i can put this images in to a SQL database?

    It would be simple enough to put the location of the image(a text block) into the database and use it as a variable.

    Hope this gives you somewhere to start.

    Rather than go in to a long winded explanation I will simply present you with this: How to

    But like Maverick said, it is easier, faster and more efficient to just store the name of the image and just build the image source with a php variable unless you have some need to actually store the binary data. But that is up to you. The article will show you how.
