    camtasia issue

    guys/gals

I have recorded a series of VTM's on my computer and have found that when played on other computers the focus is out. Any ideas on how to solve the problem so it can be viewed on any machine. I am going nuts trying to solve this one. Any help most appreciated

    Regards

Uhmmm the focus is out ?
I would venture a guess thats its a codec problem perhaps..
How many other machines have you tried this on ? If it's only 1 machine, thats particular machine might have problems decoding your video making it blurry, or blocky. Othervise you should perhaps try re-encoding them in another codec or with different settings.

Also keep in mind that some codecs actually have settings for playback... and blur is sometimes used to make edges go away, and could be causing a problem.

Anyways you should really post more information .. perhaps a screenshot of the "out of focus" video vs. the sharp one... make a sample of video available so we can test it out perhaps ?

Anyways seems to be a likely codec problem unless you have had the problem on multiple other machines ...

could it also be a resolution difference on the playback machine?

Hmm a different view size would make it a bit fuzzy i guess, but it's gotta be stretched a bit then.. about 200 percent from a lo-res to be distinguesable or something
