    I never thoroughly went through the PS VTMs because I only wanted it for 1 or 2 things (texing weapons) and I had a look at alot of the endings and it was mostly photo editing. Like I said, I was looking for more of a quick tip, the "Layers" secton just scares me

    How about a VTM on "how to keep up with all the free stuff Buzz is puting up" ?

    Seriously though some Max+SpecialFx would be really great or maybe Mentalray and rendering?

    Have you ever thought of doing part vids?

    like Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 in separate emails but they lead up to creating a cool max effect (like Pete Drapers book style FX )

    Actually, something XSI specific. The ins and outs of the rendertree. Think you could cover that in a few mins? Well if not at least it's a great idea for a new VTM

    Heya Buzz, a really good initiative with these mail tips! I'd like to see:

    Make a simple yet functional rig for a gamecharacter in Maya.

    Rigging a shoulder in Maya - Or maybe just semi-automatic scripting for controlling the collarbone (arm up, collarbone up etc.).

    A 10-minute tip-discussion on what you and your crew think are the most essential modelling scripts for Maya-which tools you use the most etc. etc. For instance MJPolyTools, selectNonQuad etc.

    A 10-minute tip-discussion on modelling techniques. How to start out modelling various objects, what to be wary of, edgeloop discussion and whatnot.

    Photoshop ,php and mysql(php5)
    texturing in photoshop and exporting uv's in max
    or maybe some python or c++ programming tips

    anything photoshop, i think it is really needed to go with all the gaming vtms


    also max stuff would be nice since it has such a large base
