    Talking New Dreamweaver user's website

    Hello,
I just learned how to use Dreamweaver and I made a site showcasing some of my work. Just wonderin if anyone could spare a couple minutes and check it out. Constructive criticism welcome! Let me know what you think about the site, reel, portfolio, etc.
    Thanks for your time

    Hey timmons64,

Thats thats a cool demo reel. The site looks good as well. THe only crit i have is on the roll overs the text is a little hard to read.
Other wise a really neat design.
(you could do alot with that design in flash)

looks interesting. some of the rollover images don't work for me. a different look than i've ever seen. will most likely get people talking about it.

    review of site

Your reel is great... Your portfolio is fine... your site needs help... I think it might just be the over use of the halftone look on the fonts... If you changed that your design of your site might feel a little more polished... here is your design with a simple font change and little change to the rollover atate to your button for links to demo reel etc...

    Slow to load

    Hi timmons64,

Your site is a good first attempt with dreamweaver. I did alot of the same things when I first used DM. IE: Graphics at a large file size. Not using tables to proper lock image areas and the rollover thing. IE, Netscape, Firefox and all other browser handle rollovers each a little differently. I like your digital gallery. You may also want to consider people who don't have the monitor resolution that you have. The one biggest thing I notice was load time and I'm on a T1 @ work. Just FYI. You can check out my website @ Redthread. Sorry it hasn't been updated for awhile. If you have a question feel free to drop me an email.

    If I don't respond shortly. I will later. Again. I'm @ work.
