    vehicle wheels into mesh

    anyone run into this?

    my vehicle's wheels-- specifically the front ones, go into the mesh, (static M or BSP) when it turns

    its basically when the vehicle turns the front of the vehicle dips down into the mesh
    for the SM land area i have simple karma off so i dont think thats it

    any ideas?

    hmmm

    i had to turn simplekarmacollision to "false" to get the vehicles from going thru the static mesh terrain----
    but i tried the bike and cars on BSp and still goes into the Bsp mesh----
    im stumped---
    i have been through the karma parameters, the bikes default code---
    im sure i missed something

    just a thought here - what did you set the elevation of your ride to?

    if you set it to 1 try upping it to 5 and see what happens

    elevation is the name of tha tag?

    i dont know where set elevation is

    im extending onswheelcraft
    is it under onsvehicle, ons wheelcraft, vehicle,
    when the vehicle is placed in the map, it hovers above the ground-----its resting on hte ground when the gameplay mode boots though

    that what ur talking about?

    yep thats what i am talkin about i've read elsewhere and in other posts here that peeps have had similar probs as yers and they fixed it by fiddling w/ the distance that there vehicle hovers above there terrain

    I’m not saying that this is the case but it looks like the front wheel axis didn’t set back –90. The wheel is setting on the ground at the point of the front wheel oreganos, try setting it up again and freezes transformations, to lock every thing in place. . But set the model up on the grid line then freezes.

    what is an oregano???

    not really clear on what the last post is saying----
    but to clarify--- the wheels, the bike itself, rides on the surface fine on straight aways----- its only on a TURN that it enters the mesh---
    its much like a dip---slightly into the mesh--- it doesnt stay there
    after the turn is complete= it rides upon the terrain fine
