    low poly game beretta

it's for UT2K4. i modelled it after my airsoft gun with just a few creative liberties. the sliding mechanism (not sure what it's called) that sits in front of the grip, is gonna be textured rather than modelled.

pretty much everything is replicated from my gun, and the magazine actually comes out and the slide actually moves. 352 polies, without being triangulated. im keeping it low until i feel better with my modelling skills. next step is texturing, yay

anyways, do what you guys do best...

Excellent geometry you got there. I hope the texturing matches. I look forward to using this gun to blast a few well placed holes in robotic skull

I think it looks good, but I'd say it would be a shame not to add more detail to the model, since ut2k4's engine is more then capable of it.

great job at keeping it low detail,.,, you can always go back later and add detail

you did a pretty good job but however i think you could need some detail, see the upperleft picture at the front of the gun it's kinda edgy (dorry if grammar is wornog ). for the rest everthing turned out nicely. hope the texturing turns out nice.

    bye frag

A little hard to critique without the reference pics of the Beretta model you are working on. I'm kind of assuming a model 92.

I only really noticed 2 things. Usually on a Baretta the barrel sticks out past the slide a little more and there usually a little taper on the front of the slide.
