    is there a 3dsmax for game development?

    what do you mean ? 3dsmax is the best tool for game, or have a look at gmax on www.discreet.com ? Maybe I've miss something..

    Yes Gmax is cool and just a stripped down version of 3dmax. use that and then upgrade to 3dmax for more complex things.

    well gmax sucks. specially the version Discreet released, so many bugs. THE HUMANITY.

    i thoght gmax was joust for gamers to make moddels an put them in games and not for game development

    it is for game design.... although you need to work with discreet to make a package for gmax that makes it possible to add levels and new models.... technically it's for the developers but for modders
