    Ok nice update for you.

westiemad, just for you I did the windscreen, part of the door and the rear arch in nurbs then converted to mesh for easy editing. It worked really for the windscreen.

P.S. can't seem to load gif as attachment so using png(24bit) which is twice the size.

how are you going about modeling that? I see no cross sections but looks real smooth. What is your process after you get you splines done?

LordBanshee, here you go I did a little sequence so you can see how I do the ploy modelling.
I use blueprints on grids to help make my C.V.s

Starting at 1 the C.V.s are in place, 2-4 then start adding polygons, I use the snap to curve function in XSI to fit the polygons were I want them. 5 I add some polys for the bottom of the air duct, I like to work with a mirrored copy of the low ploy bit I'm working on to see how it will look subDed. 6 join the bottom to the side with polys.
While doing this I tweak vertices a lot and am always mindful of how the pieces of the car connect.

Final Gathering. Creates incredibly realistic renders. That is if you know what you're doing.
