    Definately

This game is worth purchase just because of tools like UnrealEd. You will be able to learn some rough tools that can be applied to many different games.

I read that UT2k3 would be compatible with UT2k4 game types. For online play. If you got a system over 700MHz and at least a GF4 MX. You can make it playable. I'd suggest some thing over 1GHz and an ATI 9000. Don't even bother with a GF2 spend the money on a new Vcard first. BTW my old box with a TNT2 is barely playable on some maps. Not at all on line.
Buy it if you got enough system. Release dates all way get pushed back. And they haven't even set one.

I'd get UT2k3 if you had a good enough system.

BTW, this is a little off topic, but did anyone notice a remarkable resemblance of the Warthog in Halo on one of the UT2k4 screenshots?

Yes, there will be vehicles in UT2K4. It seems like that's the only big difference. You can see pix here:

Wow, Mulas, you are right, it looks a lot like the warthog in halo.

I think vehicles are a good reason to wait for UT2k4, don't you?
