    Liquid textures are not displaying correctly

    I'm following along the UT2k3 VTM. I'm on inner static meshes. I'm trying to make the liquid pool on the bottom of the level. If follow everything done on the VTM to the letter, but when they're pool suddenly looks like a real pool of liquid, mine becomes a textured optical illusion. When I move around the texture pattern doesn't remain steady. It sort of looks like those 3d pattern pictures that you have to stare at a while to see the picture if the patern randomly changed. I have a screenshot that I'll post after I get home from work. I tried turning up all the display settings, but that just makes the pattern finer.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    What type of graphic card do you have.
    It might be that your graphic card doesn't support shaders, which the water texture is
    Or it might somhow be that the texture is scaled up somehow.

    Graphics card is a Radeon 7500.

    That might be your problem....
    Update your drivers and see if that helps.

    I tried rolling back and then installing newer drivers, same thing.

    Is it possible that the texture is not properly aligned with the fluid surface, i.e. the texture is aligned with a different axis? Is that possible to edit on a fluidsurface?

    My water looks exactly the same. I couldn't fidure it out either. I found other water textures on-line and they work fine but for some reason the texture used on the VTM doesn't work with my level. I too am using the Radion All-In-Wonder 7500.
    The only thing is, I can see animated textures, just not the one used for the pool at the bottom of the VTM level. Sucks....

    Hmmz, sounds weird. I always though those Catalyst drivers were a lot better. Hope they fix that with v3,4 (released today if I'm not mistaken)

    You could try it with my map (if followed the VTM as well). Just to check you guys didn't do anything wrong with mapping. You can download here: DM-Buzz (671 Kb)

    I hope it's a mapping problem, then we can do something about it.

    I really appreciate that but unfortunatly, the water looked the
    same as mine. Excellent work though.

    Maybe it IS my graphics card. Oh well. Thanks for trying. I'll just
    have to download a different texture or something....
