Maya Advanced Modeling SOCOM in Blender 2.8

So I decided to go through some of the Maya Advanced Modeling videos, but in Blender. I just started, and have only just started going through the videos. I will post my progress, just as a way to help keep this place alive.

Just started on beveling the side action. At this point, I only have the very front of the socom done.

In edit mode, I selected all the faces, and then selected Mesh > Normals > Average > Face Area. I will probably have to do it again once I am finished beveling the model, but I was curious and started playing around with the normal options.

i haven't done any modelling in about 2 years and even then it was basic stuff for Unity.
i don't think i'd be building anything as complicated as this.

Zak did a good job of showing step-by-step the modeling process, even his mistakes and how to fix them. I'm just figuring out how to do it in blender and not maya.
