Question Creating Plugins with Unreal 4 - Can this be done with VS Express?

    The course description says:
"The only required software is Unreal and Visual Studio 2013. We show which edition of Visual Studio that you can download for free that is compatible with Unreal."

But I just want to confirm before I buy this course. Can these plugins be made with the free VS Studio Express? I ask this because I could have sworn in the past that Epic said you can't do plugins with the express version.

PS: Your forum would not let me submit this question from the product page because the auto-tag given to it is too long.

Hi John, Nelson is on vacation at the moment but he's going to check to be certain. He was pretty sure he used express to do the videos but I should have an answer for you by tomorrow

I am looking at buying the set as well. Would it be possible to get a reply on this?

I want to order this as soon as possible

    Hi,

In the second video Nelson specifically states to get the Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows Desktop.

Sorry for the delay. Yes, VS Express will work for this.

There are no restrictions on what you can do with VS Express in Unreal.
