If you are on AIX there is also Adobe Framemaker (not sure if there is a windows version, sorry).

But I agree with Emo, buying Adobe Acrobat is the best way because when installed, it will add a little Create PDF button to all your word processing docs. Click it and instant PDF. Very handy.

    pdf995 is freeware with nagscreen

To convert postscript files to PDF online (and free):
    http://www.ps2pdf.com/convert/convert.htm
(to make a postscript file, install a postscript printer, print to file, rename *.prn into *.ps and upload to this site. It works.)

    To look for other PDF-tools:
    http://www.pdfzone.com/products/soft...oolfilter.html

I have a PDF-writer with the latest ArchiCAD (wouldn't buy ArchiCAD just for the PDF-writer, off course) so I don't need Acrobat.

Acrobat is nice if you have it, but there are alternatives. Some even free.

I use CorelDRAW as well, but I prefer having a PDF-writer as well, to be able to output PDF from any program (Word, Excel, ArchiCAD...)

for pdf generation. I think PDF imaging programmes can enable to quickly generate files. i have use PDF generator which can original layouts hyperlinks, Images and tables retained in word ,text, image, Epub, html.but i forgot download the wedsite ,go to google. By the way , pay attention to your system platform, select the suitable one . I use a PDF generator dll found on the internet . Install it and it becomes a selectable option. Then you can generate PDFs in any program at all, including Adobe Acrobat . if you haven't found a good choice , you can have a try. best wishes.
