    Question Stereo Cam__Luminance Depth_Help

    Hi guys.

Im trying to render luminance depth in maya Mental ray using a stereo cam and it doesn't seem to work.

Could anyone point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

Late reply but I thought I'd pop in anyways.

What isn't working working for your render?
    Is it all white?
Check the values for the clamp node for the render pass greyscale amounts
There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

    Thanks for your response.

And yes it is all white. I tried to change the old_min and old_max values but still it is not working. It is working fine for a normal camera but when I apply the LUM pass to the stereo cam it is all white.

    what should I do.....

Clamp node, what am I talking about!? Meant to type setRange.
What did you change the values too, 0.1 and 100?

Also try swapping out the material override on the renderLayer from a Surface shader to a Lambert.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

I have animated the values according to my need. I have used the layer preset ' Luminance Depth ' and it is working fine except with a stereo cam.

I also tried swapping the material to lambert and re connecting the nodes, but it is all black and only is visible in alpha???
