    I like blender, I just don't know how to model, so learning to use blender to model isn't very useful if learning to model isn't the major lessons. I'd like a universal class on modelling that uses blender as the tool, but other tools can be used.

    Well I have already tried it and it renders a lot slow than 2.63. Using BMW1M-MikePan.blend as a test render file I am able to render that scene in 19 seconds. Now I do realise that the the latest blend uses some kind of bucket system to render now. So I left it at the defaults which is x:8 y:8 and rendered the scene mentioned above. The render took 26 seconds. I even changed the settings to render x:1 y:1, like the 2.63 uses, and that took 47 seconds. So I am not too impressed at the moment.

    yes the new blender ummmm I dunno what they did but im not impressed either
