To anyone who wants the official Full HD version of the first video: http://youtu.be/dD9CPqSKjTU?hd=1

About to watch these now. I'd be surprised if Epic Games doesn't release a few big titles running it before they release a public developer version. However, I'd be more surprised if they never released it for public use.

Expect to see a version of UnrealEd packaged in with an UE4 game before anything else.

You can't just tease us like that, we need details!

What about the things that they didn't show in the video, such as Matinee, Landscape, and Cascade (or whatever is replacing these things)?

Is creating particle systems as hugely complicated as it looks?

"Use Emissive for Dynamic Lighting"... my prayers were answered.
The biggest shock about all this is, he was editing the C++ code for the player within UDK! Does that mean people using the free UDK will be able to make engine-level changes? That's a huge departure from now, where you need to get the Big Complex Expensive License in order to do anything with the source.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It also probably separates your changes from the core source so you don't break everything else you would want to run using "UDK 4"
