    Exclamation Instruction to C++ tutorial Coding Problem with VS 2010

    Hello I have been following the tutorial for the introduction, I am using VS 2010 and getting alot of errors is it best I use
    the old one to follow alone with it correctly instead of trying to find my problems. Now I am trying just the basic coding for "Hello World"

    #include <iostream>

    int main()
    {
    std::cout << "Hello World!" << std::end
    }

    this is the error I get error

    C2679: binary '<<' : no operator found which takes a right-hand operand of type 'overloaded-function' (or there is no acceptable conversion)

    People are saying that 2010 is alot different then 2003

    I went and brought the dvd for C++ should I go buy VS 2003

    Thank you.

    You are missing a bit of code.
    Code:
    #include <iostream>

    int main()
    {
       std::cout << "Hello World!" << std::endl;
       return 0; // This is technically optional
    }
