    My entry. Added the fancy black stripe in the middle. Shot with a 18-55 kit lens and my trusty 1000D mounted on a tripod, lit by candlelight. It was eerily romantic when I noticed the entire room was lit with nothing but candles.

    They were big candles. I kinda knew how much light I would get from them, as I've used them on a portrait shot once. Playing with lights is fun!

    Or you could take two photos: one a focus shot, and the other a context shot. You may as well do it properly if you're going to submit something...

    Well yeah, that's what I mean, taking two pictures so it works with the theme. But instead of thinking carefully about what I would want to take a picture of, and properly setting up a picture, maybe I'll just grab some random crap.
