Yes. Or collapsing into a whimpering piece of meat.
After much deliberation over what I wanted to do for this contest and what would be feasible to accomplish, I came up with this scenario.
I give you my crime scene photo:
I took this using my Sony Steady Shot digital camera. I used the lighting that I have in my living room placed behind and to the right of the subject matter and the self-timer on my camera.I used a soft focus without a flash since the point wasn't to be able to read the bottles, just to see that they were there.
I then took the picture into photoshop and adjusted it to black and white. I like the "shocking" effect that black and white can give to a picture...that and it's totally classic.
And yes, I do like Jack...especially mixed with a bit of Apple Pie Liquor and coke.![]()
That is a very good photo Jamianne!! Very nicely done!!
For me, happiness is learning new things.
Nice one Jamianne! I agree, black and white adds a lot of grit and mood with the subject matter. Another added benefit is that the high ISO you used looks more like film grain in black and white.![]()

so far two good shots and one joke shot, I am kind of surprised at the little that has been posted since the last one had a lot of good pics. hopefully I can think of something a little more real to post before this one comes to a close
elevating to new levels of knowledge (that's the plan at least)
The main reason is that in the last contest, the subject matter was everywhere*, so less planning was needed. Since most of us here don't usually experience crime scenes in our day to day, so we need to do more planning. Hopefully a few more photos are entered before the contest closes.
* Everywhere in the northern hemisphere.
