For those who can't come up with names & useful tools

hi guys, im currently watching the second video and i heard zak say alot of people have trouble coming up with names and i am indeed one of them so i thought i should share a useful tool with you guys.

http://www.rinkworks.com/namegen/ this is a random fantasy name generator, its really handy as you can select short, medium or long names. I've possibly named nearly everything to my story documentation from this

also we should post what software that hasn't been discussed yet that can help people with the MMO project.

    I know a couple:

    Free:

    Itween (unity animation) http://itween.pixelplacement.com/index.php
    SS Bump (Texturing) http://ssbump-generator.yolasite.com/
Road Path tool (http://sixtimesnothing.com/road-path-tool/) (easy paths and roads in unity)
    UniSky, river tool, terrain (http://sixtimesnothing.com/tools-and-resources/)
Quad UI: (Easy unity 2D animation) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYSdJ...layer_embedded)
    Sprite manager: (http://www.anbsoft.com/middleware/sm2/)
gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) - (free photoshop program - sort of )
    Frecle (Tree generator): (http://www.frecle.net/index.php?show=treed.about)

    Paid:

Filter Forge (texturing) (not free) (Can be earnt for free from a trial (not easy), simple edition can be brought where you can access filters but not make them (great for price)
    Crazy Bump (Texturing) (not free)
UV layout (UV Mapping) (not free) (http://www.uvlayout.com/)
3D Coat (Topology) (Not Free) (www.3d-coat.com)
    Topogun (Topology) (Not Free)( http://www.topogun.com/)

For those who are students you should head over to:
http://students.autodesk.com/ You can get nearly every peice of autodesk software for free for 3 years! (maya, max, mudbox, sketchbook pro) But please remeber these are educational versions NOT COMMERICAL

I'll post more i can think of later

Thanks for the list! (btw, my nickname "Codexus" is actually something that came out of a name generator)

    My contribution to the list:
    ngPlant, another tree/plants generator that I've found useful,open-source: (http://ngplant.sourceforge.net/)
xNormal, free normal map generator, one of the best: (http://www.xnormal.net/1.aspx)

Thaaanx, I suck at naming things
Skill without imagination is craftsmanship and gives us many useful objects such as wickerwork picnic baskets. Imagination without skill gives us modern art.

just to note, you can earn filterforge for free, however it isn't easy. For a small price you can have access to all their filters which is great! especially for the price, you can just put your own texture in and apply a filter to it.
