Oh man! I envy you!! That's a beautiful camera!!! You should totally get a 500mm lens. My dad has one for his D200, and it's rediculous on his 1.5 crop. If you stand at the right distance from any person, you can actually zoom into their eternal soul.

Just bought a 10-22mm lens this week too. I've been on my 50mm prime so much that wide angle is very disorienting to try and get used to!

I want to practice only using my 50mm f1.8. I just haven't had time lately
Out of curiosity, is that the Sigma 10-20mm? I think my next lens will either be that, or a Tonkin 17-50mm f2.8 to replace the Canon kit lens.

The 50mm 1.8 II is practically all I've been using since I bought my camera. I have a tamron that is kind of bad... but it has a macro attachment which works pretty good. The only other time I'll use it is when I'm doing video since sometimes you just need something that isn't 50mm.

The 10-22 I just bought is the Canon EF-S 10-22mm 3.5-4.5. It's apparently pretty comparable to the Sigma... but I felt like the Canon handled distortion just a little bit better.

I went for Ilera, simply because of the cute cuddly furry character factor it has. ( Though cuddling one of those might not be the wisest of things to do lol). It stood out also because it wasn't a bird.
