    Copying actors with Kismet

    Hi.
Im kinda new to unreal and kismet.
Currently ive made a map but its lacking all the doors. I found a tutorial explaining how to make a door with kismet and matinee and made it work. However it seems like a lot of work to remake the kismet and matinee for every door. Especially since im reusing some doors several times and they all behave the same way.

is it possible somehow to make one template door with the basic kismet and matinee that i can just copy and reuse somewhere else?

You can do this with a prefab. Once you have the Kismet how you want it, elect the door you've created and all associated actors (triggers, sound actors, etc), right click and choose "Create Prefab". Iirc, this should bring in all the kismet with it. You'll need to save your new prefab out to a custom package. Now when you want to drop another instance of this door in, you can select the prefab in your generic browser, drop it in, and rotate it how you want.
