    Error C4430 when trying to build the first lesson C++

    When I try to build the first lesson from the C++ I get a build error
    error C4430: missing type specifier - int assumed. Note: C++ does not support default-int
    This is what I'm trying to build.
    Code:
    #include <iostream>
    using namespace std;

    main()
    {

    	cout << "Hello World" << endl;
    }
    I can't figure out what's wrong I did everything exactly as the video said.

    I'm using Visual studio 2008 on a Windows VM in OS X.

    Why when there is a current and up-to-date one here?

    ugh....... For this exact reason, because people don't think to look for a sticky. So you could at least put a little note with the dvd directing them to the sticky.

    Do people think it would help if I renamed it from "the thread of information" to something maybe like "VTM Updates"? I guess there will always be some, but would a name change help? if people think it would I'll happily change it

    Honestly, I doubt it. You could make the title red, 36pt and blinking and people would still miss it.

    The only argument I have for that is what makes you think people would be any more likely to look for a text file on their DVD than they would be to look at the stickies here? I'm not against the idea by any means. I just think we will continue to see these questions asked no matter what steps are taken to prevent them.

    I meant like a little printed note on a slip inside the DVD, something that they wont miss
