    Hmm seems I need to apologise I was looking at my c# options bad me
    OK
    under Linker theres a System option and then subsystem, check thats set to console

    Oddly your second set of errors are just standard coding errors not the one about being a windows app - its right you dont have a swap function and you changed how you spelled descending :P

    Oh man I so hate that. I wish the errors would be more clearer. ( I blame C++ for not having an active intellisence like C# ) I fixed the spelling error and it works now. I haven't looked the other 2 yet. Thanks

    Well VS2010 should hopefully have a better intellisense system in place:

    Hmm, we better get a better intellisence or Im gonna write a hate letter to M$.

    If you want more info about an error message go to MSDN(or, if you have MSDN installed on your comp, use it there) and search for the error code(make sure to include the letters).

    MSDN on LNK2019 they even provide examples for you too look at.

    Once you use C++ more and better understand it the errors become much clearer.
