    Want to learn Flash Actionscript

Can anyone recommend a good way to learn Flash Actionscript? I have a client that is interested in having a website built and their requirement is "Flash Actionscript Programmer". Not sure what they want yet, as I have not met with them, but I figured I should do my homework on what is possible anyway.

A good way to learn is to do.
Search the net for tutorials, just make sure they are the latest version of AS....which is Actionscript 3.
probably the best site I can recommend is http://www.gotoandlearn.com/

Just a word to the wise - whilst it's always a good idea to keep up with the latest technology, I would make sure you know what version of AS they want you to use before you go and spend £££ on training, books etc. People with Flash Player 8 or lower can't use flash apps produced with AS3.

    I use this site:
    http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/Flash/1

This is a RSS site that pulls different tuts for many programs that we use today and it has a ton of Flash actionscript tuts for your learning pleasure. Enjoy

I'll second dan_hin's suggestion that you find out what their target group is. Once you know that, I also wholeheartedly promote CartoonSmart as my Flash Guru of choice, with GotoAndLearn a close second.
