    Really simple n00b question

    How would I make a combo box item numer refrence an array?

    I want the user to select a name from the combobox and then use that number to find a numerical value in an array.

    I'm beginning to loose faith in this programming section. I have had two posts that have gone unanswered.

    I think it's mostly because we have almost no one coding VB. Sorry.

    And for your interrest, the title you give your thread isn't at all good. When people browse the forum they have to know just about what each thread is about. It will help out both parts, and it will be more likely that you will get an answer.

    I'm sorry I cant help you - haven't ever touched VB.

    EDIT: Yes, I am aware that we do have a few people posting here, but, it's nothing compared to the C++ forum. At least not afaik. Saying almost no one, as I did, is an exaggeration.

    VB6 example:

    Code:
    arrayItem = myArray(ComboBox.ListIndex)

    VB.NET example:
    Code:
    arrayItem = myArray(ComboBox.SelectedIndex)
    Forget the username, call me Keith
