    fumefx withvray

hello all...i've been working with max 9 since it came out, and i've recently acquired fumefx and Vray 1.5 RC3. I've seen a lot of youtube videos with the FumeFX animation illuminating the scene around it, and i know its some method of global illumination...i'm trying to find how i can set my vray to illuminate fumefx....any feedback will help. thanks in advance!

Not sure I understand your question, but you can use global illumination.

Go to Rendering -> Render - > Renderer -> V-Ray: Indirect Illumination and turn it on.
Also remmeber to attach the lights to Fumefx. FumeFX UI -> Illum -> "Upper Hand" and pick the light. Play with the settings to see what you get.
Don't think this is necessary but if you use standard lights. Click on the light, use VRay shadow -> Shadow Parameters and turn on Atmosphere Shadows.
