    i got 1 more problem
    most all have start and end bracket [ ]
    but on one of my code it has some stuff in the middle like [code,:'"'[code] since the quote are in the middle it messes up.

    if it was like this it works
    [code]
    or
    [code,99,"code]
    having more then 1 braket i think messing it up

    this has 3 brackets and it wont work
    [code,:'"'[code]

    Yep this is the embedded quote problem. What you want to do is wrap those string using a special function that handles the control character. The two characters are ' and ". ' = ASCII code 39 and " = ASCII code 34. try this

    Public Function wrapQuote(ByVal vArg as string)

    ' this wraps a pair of single quotes around a string
    wrapQuote = chr(39) + vArg + chr(39)

    End Function

    Public Function wrapDoubleQuote(ByVal vArg as string)

    ' this wraps a pair of double quotes around string
    wrapDoubleQuote = chr(34) + vArg + chr(34)

    End Function

    Just copy and paste those functions into your module and call them passing in the string you want to wrap with quotes.
