    Rendering Shadows

    Does anyone know how to get shadows to look right from a glass object. Like a wine glass on a table....The shadows should be blurry, and they remain crisp. any ideas?

    I don't think you can have only some of the texture unlit.

    Sounds to me like your best bet is to set the lighting up for it in max, and bake the lights and shadows onto the texture, and export it...
