There are a few ways this is done.

The first polygon modleing, use in gamming. Most of the timewe start from basic shapes, a cube..a ploly cube will have 16 verts..*lil dots in space connecting...

hmmmmm, When I am driving the car a blad man ... with Tinkerbell2?
