yeah... if you have a brush on which one surface (always same level) is divided into several faces just do what slack says... shift b right click go into surface properties and align as "box" or...
hmmmm
that's strange... you may want to you use crush or ignore on encroach...
since return maybe makes the lift return to key 0 which would'nt obviously not solve your problem ;(
well that's all fine... but instead of relying on these infos I'd rather build the stuff and look if it feels as if it had the size that I wanted it to be...
Especially in Realmaps the scaling is...
hmmm
maybe your autoplay.ut2 is write protected
it's in your UT/Maps folder... may want to check that.
did you override the brightness setting from UT in the ed...
normally the ed uses the same brightness settings as the game... and by this also shows lights as dark/bright as they later appear in...
this works only on some of the meshes...
just move the pivot into the mesh itself... even if you mesh is open, try to change it's location that it is not floating through space somewhere, but...
i think this depends on the halo engine...
i don't know if you can export the halo levels into a format that ued can read... i really doubt it... but maybe you can get the level into 3dsmax and...
afaik you can't go over the grid now...
that was the case in the old ued (1 and 2 ) but they changed it in the new one...
@ mr. slackpants:
concerning the speed... have your tried to "scale down the whole mod by"... let's say 10
so that you don't use the normal sizes...
so that a modeled car would be...
you can also type it in the lower right of the ed...
this is a lot faster than doing it through the properties...
with the 2d shape editor... you will have to tweak your brightness...
if you can't see anything there... it's just because everything is so friggin bright
i doubt that you will ever find somebody for making you the textures...
better learn it for yourself so you have something for the future ;)
whilst you used sheets with an animated texture back in the days of unrealed2... you now use emitters...
just open a map that has fire that looks similar to the one that you want to have......
just type the name of the song into the music fiels under audio in your level properties (or similar)
for example:
level2
or
kr-dm1
yes they can...
all of the meshes have per poly collision... and it all works fine... also if they are not closed
well... an "easier" way is to just hit shift+a
this selects _every_ actor in your map... now press shift+d and it duplicates everything... no you can either mirror the map... or turn 180° around
...
hmmmm maybe it helps if you turn on the radii view in one of your 2d viewports... so that you can see the actual radius of your light
if you select everything as Goat said, this includes the geometry (both SMS's and BSP's infornation)
just a dumb question... is this a map that you did... or maybe from someone different... there...
"a mod that puts the tournament back in unreal tournament would be cool"
why 'back' ?... afaik there has never been such a feature though I like the idea...
turning it more into a futuristic...
just go for the demo of LOTR:RotK
I found it veeeeery boring and... stupid... like tekken with only 3 moves, I don't understand why they designed them as such a hack and slash game... some kind of...
hmmm... I searched in google and on highend3d.com for an ase exporter for softimage... but I could'nt find one...
do you know if this is a format from discreet or so ?
here is the infosite for the map
http://www.planetunreal.com/lehmi/rktlehmi.htm
there's also a download link to the Rocketeer Mod (Rocket Arena 2003) which is the mod I did that map for...
...
and/or: shift+d
Do you have this error also in a completely new map, or only in the map that you mentioned?
If it's the file, just copy and paste everything into a new empty one.
Maybe it also helps if you...
