I have been wanting to learn more on animation so I have been researching it online and thought I would share these sites. I put this in the lounge for now since it really relates to any application.

Thanks for posting up all those great links! I've already checked out a couple, and there's quite a range of skill level in them; beginner stuff (for people like me :) ) and some pretty advanced stuff too. Thanks again! :D

I do. One of the annoyances for me in learning to animate was in getting my hands on a decent pre-rigged character so that I wouldn't have model/rig/skin my own. Many of the free rigs floating around the web were sub-par.

The Cryptic AR went a long way towards helping out. There are several character presets and sliders to change the look and size as well. The tools are fairly easy to learn, and the rig itself is of very high quality and fun to animate.

By the way, thanks for the resource list. Some of these I hadn't heard of, but Jason Ryan's site is fantastic and almost a poor-man's animation mentor.

Also there is one that is in a beta release but it is pretty awesome it is called the goonrig.

I agree 100% about Jason's site. He is amazing.
