Looks pretty cool.
But the people in the beginning were killing me with the whole "What's going on? The ground is shaking! It's totally not like an earthquake or anything. I've never conceived of such a thing. OMFG what is this, some kind of Earth shaking phenomenon." Not once did a single person ever say anything along the lines of "Oh crap, earthquake! Run!" Nope, everyone instantly knew that this was something entirely new.

I remember watching the original 'V' series in the 80's with my whole family, though my mum squirmed away when she saw them pick up a mouse by the tail and swallow it whole lol. I said 'Hay mum watch this' and then ran through to gut my the Cod fish my dad and brother caught out on the cabin cruser boat which was even more discusting than watching someone swallow a mouse.

As for the series 'V' it was compulsive viewing here in the UK, I didn't miss an espisode, my dad particulary was always a sci-fi fan and if he was still alive he would have loved to have seen this come back. I guess I was about 8then when I watched it. Flying space ships, people dressed in red suits that looked human but had no idea if they were or not untill they ate some living creature of some sort. I don't particulary remember the soundtrack though if i heard it, it would probably take me back to my childhood in the most freakish way ever. At that age I was building spaceship with a construction set called Construx...( great times I had building stuff with that).

The title was really ingrained in my memory, it wasa big glowing red 'V' at the intro titles followed by the chracters. Luckly we did pick up our first colour TV set to be able to see the series in full glory. ( TV's in that time lasted 6 to 12 months before you had to get a new tuner or some electrical part fitted back then).

I just hope they keep to the original style and don't put in some bast**dised rock theme like they did with Knight Rider with poor plot and poor actors.
