Kawasaki Ninja Zx-10R

Finally decided what I will make next, a Kawasaki Ninja Bike, the ZX-10 race version to be precise...

Love this bike and although I am not a big bike fan I just saw one of these today, the regular version not race, and I just loved the idea of modelling all those details so I started and this is a few hours of work (sadly my modelling speed is still a bit snail like...but what can I do.. ),

Front tire done and working on forks/suspension and doing the brake calipers...going for as much detail as I feel like...which tends to be quite a lot...should be fun..

I used a vray displacement map of my own making for the tire thread...I will post the pattern if someone wants it..think it looks great, once again vray displacement just rocks!!

ok update time..spent a bit too long on the whole brake disk attachment and the disk itself so the update is not that huge...and I know the brake disk is not completely accurrate...couldn't get the right ratio to make that petal effect on the edges less dense...but it was too much work to start again..

Well hope you like it...I am pretty happy with the progress so far although I am starting to get a bit worried if I might have outdone myself this time and set myself a task that might never be finished...though I really hope that won't happen... :hmm: ...

Anywhoo...enjoy and let me know if you have any questions/comments/crits..

Cheers

Wow! What fantastic detail!
Keep up the good work and please do keep us posted with your progres

Also, how do you attain the clay effect? (I have much to learn about 3DSMax)
