Hi! Buzzians

I have a scene with objects, floor and image background. I want to render the shadows on the floor without the floor object.

I tried with VEX Shadow Matte but it's not working.

How to render shadow on the object without the object in Houdini ?

try the shadow matte material that is in the palette...

I tried the Shadow Matte material and I got always a black floor as when I used the VEX one.

I want to show you somes pictures but I get always Upload of File Failed...I don't know if you guys have problems to upload but it's very hard for me to upload pictures at 3D Buzz forum.

the shadow matte works as a "matte"
the color channel will be black, but the alpha channel will be white wherever there are cast shadows.
