If you live in a geologically stable area (like say, South Australia), it is plausible that you could think that. In some places of the world earthquakes are so rare you would never expect one.

However I agree that it is the first thing you'd think of, whether you had experienced an earthquake or not.

Ok I caught the show the other day and I must say I’m very disappointed. They are almost copying the entire story line from the original series almost verbatim including the campy acting and dialogue.

Meh... watched it finally... it was ok. Nothing mind blowing.

I really didn't like how there was a resistance so fast... people already knew they were reptiles? I know I was only 8 years old when I watched the first series and I read the book when I was 12, but this seemed a little odd to me.

I'll see how it goes. I'm a very picky tv watcher. So picky that I actually don't watch ANY tv. I had to ask my wife which channel ABC was so I could DVR this episode.
