Any idea why this might happen to my floor?
![]() It was fine until I added another cube in the middle to make a trimming texture for an edge, which you can see in the middle of this room, right next to the error. Is there a way to fix this?

One more question
I have two different matinee sequences for two different set of objects. I need to know how the other sequence is doing so I can edit the main one accordingly. Is there a way to see the progress of two tracks playing at the same time or is matinee limited to just previewing one track?

You could try copying the group into the first matinee, doing all your editing in there, then splitting them back off to two matinees.

That's a good idea, thanks
Although I take it it would mean moving every single objetc pertaining each group and connecting it again, right? It's just too many objects to go with that approach, but I appreciate your response

I'm guessing that the floor is made of separate BSPs, if so, go back and change it to one BSP, because it has to do with the order that BSPs are added and the lights are cooked.

This has to be the weirdest bug I've ever encountered!! Is there a way to solve this? It's driving me nuts! Yes, it's all BSP, no terrain involved.

The dynamic shadows maybe due to some cull distance property. As to the default texture, make a cube somewheres with the default texture then select "all matching textures" and replace the default texture with the floor texture...
That is wierd, unless you have another brush there... try wire frame view to see if there is another brush.
