it looks good.. the only thing i can think of is ... y rar it?i mine.. its not reallygoing to save mach BW(really now if its 11.0002 or 11.0000 GB can we tell?) and it just takes more time for u to rar it and us to unrar it.. all so.. as a seed ill have to keep the rar ... so ill have the rar and un rar.. so thats 22 GB .... just somthing to think about

Good point, deffinently should be taken into concideration. Noone wants an wasted 11gb

I currently have a hosting account which I am not using at all as I have moved server. It currently has 110gb/month transfer limit but i'm not sure how much storage it has, in the control panel it says unlimited, but I know this is wrong, it might only be 5gb, it depends if they find out and correct the unlimited it has right now .

If you want to register a domain name for yourself, then you can have it till it expires in january.

The download speeds are around 400kb/s from that hosting account.

sign up for a usenet account.

Upload the 11gb

then EVERYONE in the world can download it at full speed.

but as i said it will cost you about $15 for a good usenet provider unless your ISP provieds a good one.

its not free but usenet blows torrents away by miles.

Also, I know that it's going slowly, but all this torrent stuff is completely greek to me, so I need a bit longer... Don't want to screw anything up. Hope to get it right on the first try. Hi again guys!

I know, I know, where are the pictures??

They're on the way, really. I've created a torrent, and was trying to get everything set up, but I am having a couple of problems.

I'm using Azureus, and the first problem I am having is to get the files down into the seeding window so that I can actually be the first seed. This one is probably a small problem (at least I hope so), but the second one puzzles me a bit more. I have someone who was so kind to be willing to host the tracker for me, but I'm having problems connecting to it. The program looks for the tracker, goes to a time-out and reports a tracker error. Aargh! I'm in Berlin, he's in the States. I'm awake right now, he's probably gone to sleep. Double aargh!

Does anyone of you know what would be the most probable reason for this last problem? And, perhaps how I can fix it??

Hmm, things are kind of working out, but not really the way that it was planned. The tracker status seems fine, and I've got the files ready for seeding, even if the I got them there in a slightly haphazardous manner. Am a little unsure here.

Still, let's give it a try.

Can anyone try to check out the attached zip file with the torrent in it?

I have to leave for work soon, so I won't be able to update the thread/check out errors etc. so: if you try to download the torrent, can you then report back after a while on how it is progressing, please? This way, others can see if the torrent is good or not. If it is not, then I will have to try things from scratch again. I am determined to make things work out in the end, and I hope they will work right now.
