Well, I got the book that I was talking about (Programming in Objective-C 2.0)... it's tough to really get a good chunk done during the week since I have my internship in the mornings, and I should be studying for my board exams, but I can't stop thinking about programming.
Anyways, I've slowly chugged my way to Chapter 4, "Data Types and Expressions". So far, it's been a bit boring since it's all the basic stuff, but I HAVE learned some new things that are essential...

I'm sad... while reading through Chapter 6, I seem to have gotten confused... I think I need to refresh myself with C... err.... I guess now, Objective-C.
I was checking out Amazon.com and there seems to be a really good book for learning Objective-C. It includes examples and the author seems to be supporting his book very much so, that he even has a dedicated forum set up and webcasts too!
I'll try and stop at the store tomorrow to pick it up.

I'm gonna try and enter the Blender Contest 06 with a space ship.
But I'm still VERY new at blender and I already know I won't win... but the reason I want to enter is to force myself to use blender more.
I was also going to try and use blender 2.5, but it's still a little buggy and a little different from the 2.4x series, so I think I'm just gonna stick with 2.4x until 2.5 really comes out (and more documentation on it comes out too!).

Well, I started reading this book on Thursday, October 1st. I don't remember how far I got (not too far), but on Friday after class, I went home to see how far I could go... I ended up reading from chapter to through chapter 5, so I was happy.
It went smooth for the most part, but because the book is based off of an earlier version than Xcode 3.2 (I forget what version... I remember reading it at one time, but I can't find it now). Anyways, I'm using version 3.2, so there are some...

Early on in my college days, I learned C on my own, then naturally went on to learn C++. I never really used that knowledge though, because I changed my major from Computer Science to something else. Over the years, I never kept up with C++, but I did move on to other languages, like JavaScript and PHP.
Anyways, many years later, I want to know do some programming on the Mac, so earlier this year I purchased "Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X" by Aaron Hillegass (978-0-321-50361-9),...
