In the first part of this series, which is available for FREE, we take a good look at Unity’s new GUI system! We show all of the core concepts of the New UI, and bring it all together with a main menu example! We highly encourage watching this part first, since these core concepts are fundamental to working with the system.
This part shows how to construct an ENTIRE GAME using only the New UI for visible objects. Not only do we see a nontrivial usage of the UI system, but also get to explore general game architecture. In addition to applying ALL of what we learned in a real world scenario, we get to explore even more advanced features of the New UI!
